Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping and "Wound-To-Order" Items
We generally ship all in-stock orders within 5 business days.
Depending on the complexity of the transformer not in stock, it's usually a 2-4 week ship time for wound-to-order builds.
• For our more common designs, we probably already have it in our production schedule, and if we complete your order sooner than that we'll ship it as soon as it's done.
• For more complex builds (high interleaving, custom hardware, etc..) or designs we don't produce often, we strive to ship everything within a 4 week timeframe. If you have a strict deadline for you project let us know and we'll do our best to accomodate.
Quantity ordering // Overseas
Yes! We have quantity pricing starting at 10 pcs and going up. Typically we'll schedule a quantity priced batch for your order and fit it in to our production schedule depending on your needs and our order queue.

Yes, but the shipping can get expensive with how things are these days. We have a discounted UPS rate for international shipping, but either way, it gets pricey for larger orders. Please contact us directly to discuss and we'll do our best to make it work for you.
All of our transformers are hand made right here in the "historic" Montavilla neighborhood of Portland, Oregon United States of America.
Custom Transformers
Most definitely! Our OEM designs are the heart of our business. Drawing on our decades of vintage amplifier experience, we can create designs that not only fit your product from a specification perspective, but bring out the sound in your head that you've been trying to achieve.
We strive to bring true differentiation to every transformer we create. Every brand is unique, every builder is unique - you shouldn't settle for the same off shelf iron simply with a different sticker on it. Your ears deserve better!

In a perfect world we'd have an endless catalog of reproduction transformers for every amplifier out there, but in this tarnished reality it's just not possible to capture the voice of every transformer ever used in a guitar amplifier without driving our collective existences beyond the brink of insanity.
We focus on the amplifiers we know, the voices we love, and the classic designs that formed our love of music. Our catalog is always growing though! Just like the sands of time burnishing our bones as the hours pass, we'll keep seraching for that golden voice in the speaker that guides us all.
Absolutely not. We do not produce transformers for commercial, medical, or instrumentation usage. Everything we make, including our power transformers, is designed specifically for their impact in audio equipment.
